Safe Guard Your Pool from
Child Drowning (important facts):
My hobby is swimming pool designing and
developers and since I have gotten involved
with Pool Safety, I have been actively practicing
life saving techniques in pool design and
development.
Here are some important facts:
- Cancelation of all bottom pool drains
or bottom suction and moving them to
over flow system.
- This will eliminate any possibility
of children being sucked under by
the drain and pump.
- Change the location of the jet water
discharge to the opposing side to where
the stairs are located.
- This will enable any floating
object to float toward the shallow
area and the pool stairs. Imagine
a child that has fallen in the pool,
the water current will carry the
floating subject to the shallow
area. This will give every fallen
child a fighting chance f reaching
the shallow end and the stairs.
- By designing pools for overflow water
recirculation will enable all floating
objects to be closer to the surface.
- A child finds an overflow pool
simpler and easier to come out of
and this also enables a non swimmer
to be nearer to land surface then
other pools.
- Adding a chlorination system to the
pool will increase the buoyancy of any
child.
- The Auto chlorination will convert
the TDS (Total Dissolved Salt) in
the pool to Sodium Chloride by means
of Electrolyses via the Auto Chlorinator.
Thus a child becomes more buoyant
and he learns to swim quicker. I
have taught over 20 children how
to swim and this was done because
of the help of the added TDS in
the pool.
