The Under Vehicle Inspection
System (UVIS) is a digital scanning device
used to search vehicle under carriages.
The UVIS has proved to be an effective simple
to use E tool for viewing the underside
of vehicles entering and exiting secure
areas or facilities. The UVIS provides a
safe and through search method for hidden
items, such as explosive devices and contrabands.
This System has become the most widely used
under vehicle surveillance system all over
the world. This technology can be used anywhere
that vehicle inspection is critical, including
Military Bases, Government Installations,
Embassies, Nuclear Facilities, Oil Refineries,
Official Residences and Commercial / Industrial
properties, Border Crossing, High-Valued
Sites and Government Facilities. The UVIS
system is a water resistant system (IP65)
providing protection of cameras, lighting
and wiring under harshest weather conditions.
The Monitoring Station consist of a Steel
Frame Enclosure with a 19” LCD screen,
Core 2 Quad Server with 1.25 T.B Storage
Capacity, a PCI-E NVR connected to 8 cameras
of which 6 are under vehicle inspection
and 2 for driver and license plate recording.
This system permits Real Life Viewing, Recording,
and Playback with full screen or partial
video imagery. Thiers a possibility for
full continuous recording or motion activated
when vehicles approach the inspection screening
area. Each sealed camera now incorporates
a Sapphire crystal lens to eliminate surface
scratching. A popular option is the AIRCLEAN
system which consists of four pop-up valves
placed next to each camera lens to blow
away standing water, dust, sand or debris.
The operator can view the UVIS from any
location he wishes. All other security officers
can also have a similar capability of viewing
from anywhere on the facility via the local
LAN or from anywhere in the world via the
internet.
