Course Overview and Background

SOFAB'S Middle East Search and Rescue Training Academy acknowledges the key skills required by staff to operate in a fast moving dynamic environment which is the Rescue Coordination Centre. The majority of SAR missions tend to last no more than 3 or 4 hours and SOFAB's Courses recognize the key elements of mission management and focuses on current SAR field “best practices” and techniques.
